Artist Bio

Band of Horses is an indie rock band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2004 with Ben Bridwell as the main creative force. They started releasing music in the mid-2000s, debuting with "Everything All the Time" in 2006 on Sub Pop Records, and are known for blending indie rock with folk and country influences. Their music, including well-known tracks like "The Funeral," is marked by Bridwell’s distinctive vocals and a mix of melancholic and uplifting tones. Over the years, they’ve put out several acclaimed albums, have worked with labels like Sub Pop and Columbia Records, and their songs have appeared in film and television, though they haven’t picked up major awards. Fans of My Morning Jacket, The Shins, and Fleet Foxes might find their sound familiar.
