Review

"Religiously. The Album." by Bailey Zimmerman sure did catch my ear with its rich mix of modern country vibes and that heartland rock sound. Bailey really brings it home with his songwriting – the boy has a knack for telling tales that tug at your heartstrings. Especially with that title track, "Religiously"; it's a beautiful piece that dives deep into love and faith. Then you've got those catchy tunes like "Fall in Love" and "Rock and a Hard Place" – they're the kind you can't help but turn up when they come on the radio.

Now, there's a song called "Fix'n To Break" that really captures the ache of a love that's cooling off, and it's raw and emotional in a way that just grips you. There's also "God's Gonna Cut You Down," which packs a punch with its gritty look at consequences. Bailey’s voice is something else, really – it's got this gritty soulfulness that just draws you in and keeps you listening. The album’s a good mix of upbeat tracks and some that are more reflective and it's quite an impressive showcase for someone so new on the scene. If you like country that feels both fresh and familiar, you ought to give this one a listen. - Mia
