Review

Alter Bridge's 'One Day Remains' hit the scene in 2004, and let me tell you, it was a real shot in the arm for rock music. This debut album from the American rockers packed a punch with its blend of hard and alternative rock, serving up some serious ear candy.

You've got tracks like 'Find The Real' and the title song that really show off what these guys can do. Myles Kennedy's vocals are just phenomenal - the guy's got pipes that could wake the dead. And speaking of waking the dead, 'In Loving Memory' is a real tearjerker. Mark Tremonti wrote it about losing his mom, and you can feel every ounce of that emotion in the music.

Now, 'Metalingus' might not have been a single, but it's become a fan favorite. It's even made its way into the wrestling world as Adam "Edge" Copeland's entrance theme. The album did pretty well commercially too, hitting number five on the Billboard 200 and going Gold in the States. It's a solid start for Alter Bridge, setting them up as a band to watch in the rock scene. - Raegan
