Review

Adele totally knocked it out of the park with her album "21," which is pretty much the soundtrack to anyone going through a tough split. The whole thing dropped in 2011 and it's like she took all the messy, intense feelings from a breakup and turned them into these incredibly moving songs. Anyone who's ever had their heart ripped out will get why "21" hits so close to home, with that crazy mix of pain, getting over it, and learning to look at yourself again.

The vibe of the album is this cool mash-up of soul, R&B, and a bit of blues, and it just fits her voice like a glove. The singles "Rolling in the Deep," "Someone Like You," and "Set Fire to the Rain" basically blew up the charts and had everyone belting out the lyrics in their car. Not only did the album sit pretty at number one on the Billboard 200 for weeks, but it also flew off the shelves with over 31 million copies sold worldwide, which is insane! It's more than just numbers, though – "21" is like this universal hug, making everyone feel like we're all in this messy life thing together. - Melody
