Artist Bio

Ace of Base is a Swedish pop group from Gothenburg that formed in the late 1980s and found international fame after releasing their debut album "Happy Nation / The Sign" in 1992-1993. Known for their catchy blend of Eurodance, pop, and reggae fusion, they scored major hits like "The Sign," "All That She Wants," and "Don't Turn Around." The band, made up of siblings Jonas, Linn, and Jenny Berggren along with Ulf Ekberg, became one of the best-selling acts of the 1990s and received accolades including a Grammy nomination and World Music Awards. Signed to Arista Records and Playground Music Scandinavia, their sound aligns well with groups like Roxette, Aqua, and Real McCoy. While their later releases saw less commercial impact, Ace of Base’s early work continues to influence pop and dance music.
