Tori Kelly is back on the scene with her fifth studio album simply titled "TORI.," which dropped on April 5, 2024, in collaboration with Epic Records and Jon Bellion's Beautiful Mind Records. Following the teaser of her 2023 EP "tori," this album includes all the tracks from the EP and comes as her first full-scale project under Epic Records, where she signed up in 2023. The cool thing about "TORI." is how it ushers in a fresh phase for her music, drawing heavily on the vibes of 90s and early 2000s R&B and hip-hop.

Her single "Missin U" hit the airwaves in March 2023 and instantly caught everyone's attention by sampling the groove from Craig David’s classic "Fill Me In," giving us a taste of her modern yet retro approach. The album's other singles, "Cut" and "High Water," stay true to that Y2K style she’s going for. Plus, Tori’s collaboration with Jon Bellion not just behind the scenes but also on the mic adds an extra layer of cool to "TORI.," solidifying it as a mixtape of powerful vocals and a nostalgic yet progressive blend of genres. - Melody
