Review

I'm diving straight into the world of 2Pac with his iconic album "Better Dayz". This double-album is a treasure trove of unreleased heat, mostly from the 1994-1996 period, and it's a wild ride. You get a mix of remixed tracks and original, finished mixes that showcase 2Pac's incredible range. The album's divided into two discs - one for the hardcore rap fans and the other for those who love their R&B jams. This setup makes the album super accessible and enjoyable, highlighting 2Pac's versatility as an artist.

The R&B disc is where things get really interesting, with tracks like "My Block (Remix)", "Never Call U Bitch Again", "Better Dayz", and "Fame" showcasing 2Pac's reflective and conflicted side. You also get a slew of guest appearances from the likes of Outlawz, Ron Isley, Nas, and Tyrese, which adds to the album's fire. The hit single "Thugz Mansion" is a standout, with two versions that bring different vibes to the table. Overall, "Better Dayz" is a testament to 2Pac's enduring legacy and creative genius, offering fans a rich and varied collection of his unreleased work that still holds up today.- Rafe
